RiceWise1.Agreement
These Terms govern your use of RiceWise (the "Service"). In these Terms, "we" and "us" mean RiceWise. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2.Who can use RiceWise
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement under Philippine law.
3.Your account
- Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Verify your email address before using your account.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, so tell us right away if you think it has been compromised.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or create accounts for others without their permission.
4.What RiceWise does
RiceWise helps rice farmers record crop activity, track expenses and income, plan planting schedules, and view weather-related information and analytics.
For information only. Insights, analytics, reminders and weather information are there to support your own decisions. They are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not professional agronomic, financial, legal or insurance advice, and we do not guarantee any yield, income or profit. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
5.Your data
You own the farm records and other information you enter ("Your Data"). You allow us to store, process and display Your Data only as needed to run and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Data and for having the right to enter it.
6.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
- try to access other users' accounts or data, or probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- upload malware or interfere with the Service, including by overloading it with automated requests;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows;
- use the Service to send spam or to harass or deceive others.
7.Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, with reasonable notice where practical. Please keep your own backup of any records that matter to you.
8.Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service, and ask us to delete your account, at any time by contacting ricewise@gmail.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or if the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination (such as 4, 9, 10 and 12) will do so.
9.Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of weather data, analytics or recommendations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer or other laws that cannot be waived.
10.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost crops, income, profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or PHP 1,000 if the Service was free. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
11.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or in the Service before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms.
12.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If that does not work, disputes will be brought before the proper courts of the Philippines, unless the law gives you the right to file elsewhere.
